ATEP's Review Committee is comprised exclusively of senior practitioners in the field in the trust, estate planning, and tax field who have years of experience practicing in Alaska. Many members of this committee were the original practitioners instrumental in the creation of Alaska’s first trust statutes, and who continue to contribute their invaluable insight and experience to shape the future of Alaska law. This committee’s focus is the review of all new legislation drafted by the Drafting Committee.

ATEP's Legislative Committee works to orchestrate the legislative process, including finding sponsors for bills to be presented to the legislature. This Committee conducts strategic outreach to regional professional associations in the trust and estate planning space, to introduce new proposed legislation developed by ATEP. This Committee may also organize focused study groups on Alaska Statutes for the benefit and involvement opportunity of our members.
